The Parks of Harvest Hills is aptly-named, committing more than 28 per cent of the 26-hectare community to accessible open space, along with the 1.4-hectare (3.5-acre) water feature. The City of Calgary puts the minimum requirement for new communities at 10 per cent. Its green space is headlined by two major parks. Harvest Park will have tennis courts, and a playground, and Harmony Park will include walkways around the water feature that connect to the regional pathway.
